SUMMARY:International Women's Day Celebration
DESCRIPTION:This year\, International Women’s Day will be celebrated on March 8\, 2024. LCWLA is helping to sponsor this celebration! \nWe will have our March meeting at noon on the 8th at the Lubbock Women’s Club. Justice Judy Parker\, of the Seventh Court of Appeals\, will give some brief remarks on Celebrating Women in the Law\, and we will have a short CLE presentation from the State Bar of Texas. \nThis free celebration is open to all members!! \nThank you to our sponsors for this event:  the Women & the Law Section of the State Bar of Texas\, Lubbock County Women Lawyers Association\, the Lubbock Area Bar Association\, the Texas Tech School of Law Community Engagement Committee\, and the Organization of Women Law Students at TTU Law. \nPlease RSVP to Kayla Wimberley (kayla.wimberley@ttu.edu).
